Transit eVisa for Burkina Faso

Who Can Apply?

You may apply if you hold a valid passport from a country eligible for the Burkina Faso eVisa and have all the mandatory documents required for your Transit eVisa application.

Documents Required for Burkina Faso Transit eVisa

Applicants need to provide:

1. Passport Bio Page: A clear scanned copy of the passport page showing your personal details.
2. Applicant Photo: A recent, clear photo of the applicant.
3. International Vaccination Certificate: A valid vaccination certificate is required such as a yellow fever certificate. 
4. Entry Authorisation for the Destination Country (if required): A valid sticker visa, eVisa or other valid document confirming your legal entry into your final destination, where required.
5. Proof of Onward Travel: Submit a proof of your onward journey based on your mode of travel: 
   1. Onward Flight Ticket (if travelling by air)
   2. Bus ticket or other valid proof for land travel (if travelling by land)

Validity and Stay Duration

• Visa Validity: 5 days from issuance
• Permitted Stay: Up to 5 days
• Entry Type: Single entry

The Transit eVisa activates on the date of issuance. Plan your stopover within that 5-day window.
